Texas sues Sony BMG over spyware violations

Well ain't that somethin'! I hate spyware and what I have read of Sony's latest screw up I would be pissed if my PC got screwed up by one of these CDs. If the record compainies are trying to get people to quit downloading music and to buy CDs this is not the way to do it. If anything Sony/BMG just set themselves back even farther, the next CD I go out to buy you know I'll be damn sure to read the label and if it says Sony on it, I guess I'll just have to go download the music somewhere online instead, heck it would be safer that way - less chance of getting a virus or spyware.
